Karrion Kross and Scarlett left WWE once their contracts ended, something that people didn’t see coming. It’s been weeks since their exit and now they’ve revealed their current relationship with WWE.
While speaking to Denise Salcedo, Karrion Kross and Scarlett were asked if WWE had reached out to them since then. Kross explained that neither he nor Scarlett felt like their relationship with WWE was on bad terms, and he believed communication was still possible.
“No. But I mean, to me and to Scarlett, I don’t feel like we’re on scorched earth communications. Like I feel like there’s an ability for us to communicate.”
Scarlett recalled that the last thing she told WWE was that they had her and Kross’ numbers, and that everything would work out if needed. She was told the line of communication went both ways, but she found it confusing since WWE had rescinded their offer, essentially ending the conversation.
“That was the last thing I told them. I said, ‘You guys have our numbers. I think everything’s going to work out, but you know how to reach us.’ And they’re like, ‘The line goes both ways.’ I’m like, ‘What do you mean? You said the offer was rescinded. Like the conversation’s over.'”
Kross added that they had approached WWE wanting to stay with the company, but someone was put between them and ultimately the offer was pulled. He described the situation as strange and frustrating, though at this point they had chosen to laugh about it and move forward.
While the outcome was not what they wanted, they were still enjoying themselves, having fun, and staying connected with fans. He also felt the situation could have been much better handled if there had been clear and healthy communication.
“We went to them telling them that we wanted to remain with the company and they put somebody between us and rescinded the offer. So the whole thing’s been very—man, it’s very weird. I don’t know how else to say it. I don’t mean to be redundant but it’s all very weird. We have to laugh about it at this point. We have to move forward. It’s a weird thing because yeah, this is not what we wanted to happen, but we also are having a good time and having fun and engaging with the fans. It’s not the end of the world. However, I think things could definitely improve under, you know, healthy communication.”
This comes after Karrion Kross made it clear he wants to return to WWE despite his past frustrations. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see if Kross and Scarlett will ever come back to WWE, as anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.
