The NXT Women’s Championship picture is about to get wild — and it’s happening on this Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT.
WWE has announced a massive 20-woman battle royal featuring talent from both NXT and TNA to determine the new number one contender for Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship. The winner will go on to challenge Jayne at NXT Halloween Havoc later this month.
The official lineup includes a mix of rising stars and crossover appearances: Jordynne Grace, Lei Ying Lee, Mara Sadé, Xia Brookside, Heather by Elegance, Jordynne Grace, Victoria Crawford, Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley, Lash Legend, Cassie Lee, Jessie McKay, Kendal Grey, Lola Vice, Karmen Petrovic, Sol Ruca, Thea Hail, Arianna Grace, and Wren Sinclair are all confirmed for the match.
Names like Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay (formerly The IIconics) are returning to the WWE system. Also confirmed:
- Matt Cardona vs. Josh Briggs
- AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Lexis King
- Blake Monroe vs. Zaria
The October 14 NXT episode could shake up the women’s division in a huge way, especially with TNA talent now firmly in the mix. With Halloween Havoc just around the corner, the winner of this match could set the tone for what’s next in the ongoing NXT x TNA crossover.
