Not everyone is sticking around in France for WWE’s Clash in Paris weekend.

As WWE prepares for the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event on August 31 and the Monday Night RAW taping on September 1 at the Paris La Défense Arena, some talent not scheduled for either show have already been sent home, according to Fightful Select. The company wrapped a European tour in the lead-up to these events, and with the match cards locked in, WWE began sending certain stars back to the U.S. early.

This kind of move isn’t uncommon, especially when only a select few are needed for televised appearances. It also allows the company to cut travel and lodging expenses while giving unused performers a chance to rest before the next leg of TV tapings.

Meanwhile, Clash in Paris is shaping up to be a massive event. Seth Rollins will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a four-way match against CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso. Becky Lynch will put her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Nikki Bella. John Cena faces Logan Paul, and Roman Reigns has a grudge match with Bronson Reed. Other matches include Sheamus vs. Rusev in a Donnybrook Match and the Wyatt Sicks defending the WWE Tag Team Titles against the Street Profits.

WWE is keeping the focus tight on the main event talent heading into Paris, while others catch an early flight home after a packed tour across Europe.
