We get a long advertisement for the WWE Network and the insane amount of content on it.

Daniel Bryan and Stephanie McMahon are backstage and Steph is gloating about Raw’s dominance thus far. Bryan says they’ve been impressive but it’s still early and he thinks Team SmackDown Live will defeat Team Raw. Stephanie asks Bryan how they got John Cena on their team, asking if it was because of Kurt Angle’s ineptitude, or is it because Cena and Bryan are practically brothers? Bryan says he isn’t sure. She says that’s nepotism at it’s finest, and Bryan says that’s rich coming from her, considering her husband is on Team Raw. Stephanie says the Cereberal Assassin, The King of Kings, took his rightful place on Team Raw. Bryan asks if that’s the same King of Kings that he beat to go on and main event WrestleMania? Stephanie then runs down the list of people on her team and how they attacked her brother, Shane McMahon, on Smackdown this past week. Shane cannot be 100% after that. When Shane is out, Bryan will have full autonomy on Smackdown. She walks off.

We return to ringside and out comes SmackDown’s lone wolf Baron Corbin for his personal match against The Miz!

Raw Champion Vs. SmackDown Live Champion
Intercontinental Champion The Miz Vs. United States Champion Baron Corbin

Maryse is seated at ringside to watch her husband, who she kisses before they begin. Miz gets the first shot in when Corbin takes a look at his wife. He gets in a few more before Corbin flattens him in the corner. Baron slides out of the ring and has some words with Axel, which allows The Miz to hit a basement dropkick. Corbin sends Miz into the barricade right in front of his wife. He blows a kiss at Maryse, which makes Miz mad. He chases Baron into the ring and clotheslines him right back out. Miz is the default babyface in this one.

Corbin makes a comeback and slams him into the barricade. Corbin gets him in the ring and punches him in the corner. Dueling chants for both men pick up. Corbin knees him and sends him into the ropes. Miz quickly boots him in the knee and pulls the top rope down to get him out of the ring. Corbin avoids a baseball slide and punches him down. Corbin scares Curtis Axel, who is wearing a red neck collar, back. Bo Dallas clips Corbin’s knee while he reenters the ring. Axel was distracting the referee.

Miz hits a running boot and a leg DDT on Corbin. Miz works over the leg and tries to hyperextend the knee. Miz goes for a Figure Four, but Corbin powers him back. Miz flips through a back suplex, chop blocks the knee, and applies the Figure Four Leglock. Corbin gets to the bottom rope. Miz argues with the referee and charges into a Deep Six for a near fall. They both take their time before getting up. Miz counters a chokeslam into a roll-up for a two count. Corbin gets him in the corner and slides out of the ring to punch Axel down. Corbin gets Bo Dallas in the ring and hits him with the End of Days. Miz rolls him up for a near fall.

Corbin looks for the End of Days but Miz flips right through, landing on his feet, and hits a kneeling DDT for another near fall. Miz slowly gets to his feet and starts the It Kicks. Corbin avoids the roundhouse kick, so Miz puts him in the corner for the Bryan running dropkicks. Corbin pops out while Miz tries a third one and hits the End of Days for the win.

Winner: Baron Corbin

After the match Corbin is interviewed by Renee Young, to which he says “Hey Miz, when my hand goes up, your mouth went shut.” Corbin then says that he didn’t just shut up The Miz with that win, he shut up everybody watching too. Corbin rolls from the ring and walks off.
