WWE Superstar Sidelined With ‘Significant Neck Injury’

WWE Superstars are always taking a risk whenever they get into the ring. Just the wear and tear on their bodies, thanks to endless traveling, can cause them to get injured. Now, another star is out of action thanks to neck problems.

Kit Wilson has been working more singles matches lately, and a new report points to why. Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Wilson is going solo because his tag partner Elton Prince is out. Meltzer added that he was told Prince is dealing with a “significant neck injury.”

WWE has not publicly given a detailed medical update on Prince at this time. Neck injuries can sometimes take a lot of time to recover from, and they can be career ending.

Elton Prince and Kit Wilson have been a unit for years as Pretty Deadly. They first got traction in WWE through NXT UK, and then moved into NXT when the UK branch closed down. The two eventually got called up to the main roster together without ever breaking up. They won the NXT UK Tag Team Titles in 2021, then later unified the NXT and NXT UK tag titles at Worlds Collide in 2022, which WWE treated as a major moment for the team’s run.

Kit Wilson received a new entrance package, but he hasn’t really won on his own. He did get a chance to cut a promo on WWE SmackDown, but then Zack Ryder’s return squashed that segment. Only time will tell what WWE is able to do with half of Pretty Deadly until Elton Prince can return.
