SummerSlam Saturday has ended and now fans are gearing up for SummerSlam Sunday, which promises to be an even better night. That’s why WWE has booked a solid card from start to finish to make sure fans have a great time.
John Cena will be defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight. The two have been at each other’s throats for a long time and now that Cena has turned babyface again, fans are waiting to see whether Rhodes will dethrone Cena and finally call himself the best wrestler in WWE.
Naomi will defend her Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY in a triple threat match at SummerSlam. Naomi won the Women’s World Title after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at Evolution and now she’s determined to retain her title against Ripley and SKY. Therefore, we’ll have to see if see will walk out as the champion.
Becky Lynch will defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification match. The two have a ton of hatred for each other and it will reach a boiling point at SummerSlam, so fans are waiting to see whether Lynch will retain her title or if Valkyria will beat Lynch and end their feud once and for all.
The Wyatt Sicks will defend the WWE Tag Team Titles in a six-pack TLC match against The Street Profits, The Motor City Machine Guns, #DIY, Fraxiom and Andrade & Rey Fenix.
Solo Sikoa will also defend the WWE United States Championship against Jacob Fatu in a steel cage match and it’s expected to be a very brutal match. Finally, AJ Styles will challenge Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship. Since it might be Styles’ last SummerSlam, many are hoping to see him win the title and have one last SummerSlam moment.

WWE Summerslam 2025 Sunday will take place on August 3, 2025, at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The pre-show will begin at 3 PM ET, while the main show will start at 6 PM ET. In the U.S., it is available to watch on Peacock and internationally on Netflix.
