The brutal TLC match that headlined the April 25th episode of Friday Night SmackDown has officially gotten major internal praise—and nobody backstage is surprised.

According to Fightful Select, “In perhaps the least surprising news of the week, the TLC match from Smackdown got incredible reviews internally.” People within WWE noted before the show even aired that they expected the match to be a big talking point, especially since several of the participants were left off WrestleMania this year.

Jamie Noble and Kenny Dykstra were the producers behind the chaos, and the final product left a huge impression. Fightful also noted, “The claim internally was that everyone emerged from the TLC match relatively healthy,” which is impressive considering how brutal the action was.

The match featured DIY, Motor City Machine Guns, and Street Profits battling it out without even focusing on climbing the ladder until the end. The brawl included moments like Tommaso Ciampa hitting a White Noise through a ladder at ringside and Motor City Machine Guns delivering a devastating Skull & Bones through a table. In the final moments, Montez Ford managed to knock everyone off the ladder and grab the belts to retain the titles for the Street Profits.
