It’s officially the end of the road — at least for now — for Carlito in WWE.
The Judgment Day member has been removed from WWE’s active roster page, with the company quietly shifting him to the alumni section, confirming his departure after months of speculation. Carlito’s contract expired recently, and despite rumors of negotiations, no new deal was reached.
The news isn’t exactly shocking to fans who’ve been following the situation. Back in June, it was announced that Carlito would be leaving WWE, with his contract set to run out and no renewal in place. That announcement came on the same day that R-Truth revealed his contract had also expired — though Truth ultimately re-signed and now competes under his real name, Ron Killings.
Carlito, however, is officially a free agent. The former Intercontinental Champion has already been announced for several independent bookings, making it clear he’s wasting no time getting back on the scene.
As of this morning, Carlito’s name was still listed on WWE’s official roster page, but that has now changed. WWE quietly updated the site, shifting him to the alumni section and confirming his exit after his return run, which began in 2023.
Interestingly, Valhalla — who also announced that her contract would not be renewed around the same time as Carlito — remains listed on the roster page. This suggests her deal has yet to officially expire.
What do you think — should WWE have done more with Carlito during his return? Or is the door still open for him to come back down the line? Drop your thoughts in the comments and tell us where you want to see him show up next.
