The September 26, 2025, episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown had a ton of great things going for it. This included Jacob Fatu making his return to WWE television and starting a new feud. However, the show still saw a decrease in viewership.

According to Programming Insider, SmackDown averaged 1.238 million viewers, down from the 1.342 million viewers the program drew on September 19, 2025. In the key P18–49 demographic, the show scored a 0.35 rating, which also represented a slight dip from last week’s 0.37 rating.

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured a lot of memorable moments and that included Jacob Fatu making his return as he started a new feud with Drew McIntyre by taking him out.

Jade Cargill was also busted open in a big way during the WWE Women’s Title match between herself, Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax. This and many other moments took place throughout the night.
