To her, the title is just a stepping stone, and she’s going to prove it doesn’t belong to Zelina.
Zelina responds, saying where she comes from, you settle things in the street. She fought for that title and if Giulia wants it, she’ll have to pry it from her cold, dead hands. Zelina promises she’ll prove exactly why she’s champion.

Wade Barrett asks Jade Cargill why she’s so confident she’ll win. Jade says when most people see Asuka, they get nervous — but not her. She sees an opportunity to show exactly why she came to WWE. She says she has purpose, and at SummerSlam, she doesn’t just plan to take the title — she plans to take the whole damn throne. Asuka responds with a little dance and says that’s fine — Jade may be strong, but power isn’t everything. She has skill, she has experience, and most importantly, she is Asuka. Asuka adds a message in Japanese before finishing with her signature line — no one is ready for Asuka.
Jade starts to respond, but Naomi’s music hits. Naomi comes out dressed to match her Money in the Bank briefcase. She tells them they can fight over crowns all they want, but she holds all the power. Naomi reminds them she can cash in anytime — maybe after tonight’s match, maybe after one of them battles for the title.

Then, the Yin and Yang video package airs, hyping up the rivalry between Cena and CM Punk.
Back in the arena, R-Truth makes his way to the ring. He grabs a mic and says, “What’s up?” He introduces himself as Ron Killings — the Truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. We go to commercial.
We are back, and John Cena makes his way to the ring. Cena tells Riyadh to get used to this — because this is what a winner looks like. He says he’s a winner, and CM Punk is a loser. Cena says Punk has been outsmarted and outworked. Punk is out of tricks, and Night of Champions is just a formality — there’s nothing Punk can do to stop it. Suddenly, some classic John Cena music hits, and CM Punk walks out — dressed in a Chicago Cubs shirt and jorts.
Punk grabs the mic and says, “This is basic Punkanomics.” He points at Cena and says the clown plagiarized his Pipe Bomb, so tonight, he’s stealing Word Life.
“You had to rip off my best promo just to remind people you move in slow motion?” Punk laughs. He brings up Cena’s old rap gimmick, saying Cena deserved every bit of ridicule for it. “You’re not the Doctor of Thuganomics — you’re Temu Macklemore.”
Punk keeps going, saying Cena buried more talent than The Undertaker. That’s why Cena’s still the champ — but lost everyone’s respect. Punk jokes that he’d consider retiring too if this company rehired his ex.
He mocks Cena’s clean-cut image. “If you didn’t take your vitamins, say your prayers, and get your hair plugged, you’d be a Boston mall cop.” Punk admits Cena gets good movie roles but reminds everyone that Batista has done more. Punk says when it comes to being Best in the World, the fans have spoken — they chant Punk’s name. “When you show up, they chant ‘You Can’t Wrestle.’” Punk promises that in six months, Cena will be gone again, busy washing James Gunn’s underwear. “You can play pretend with DC, but to me, you’ll always be The Marine.”
Punk says Cena’s got a hell of a catchphrase, but now all anyone sees is a washed-up version of him.Punk reminds everyone that he dropped the Pipe Bomb 14 years ago, calling Cena a phony, a fraud, and an ass-kisser. “You might be a 17-time champion, but you’ve never been on my level.” Punk finishes by saying there’s just one more wish to make — “You’re gonna lose to Kendrick… because you’ll always be his Drake.”
Punk celebrates at ringside after dropping the mic, as the show fades to black.
