WWE SmackDown Results (7/11/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary. Randy Orton chats with Jelly Roll backstage.

LA Knight hits the ring and says he wants to talk to ya. He brings up how wrestling is full of predictions and spoilers—two things Paul Heyman is always running his mouth about. When people think of Paul, they think of a guy who acts like he’s pulling all the strings.

Knight says Seth Rollins is desperate and a little washed up. That’s why he teamed up with Heyman and formed a goon squad with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. Knight says those two were sent to take him out of WWE because Seth couldn’t do it himself.

But in 24 hours, it’s all going down at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Knight says he’s already dropped Seth on his head twice, but that’s not enough. Now it’s about pride, pain, and payback. He tells Seth, you don’t have to be scared to get your ass kicked—and that’s exactly what’s coming. Not a prediction. Not a spoiler. Just a fact of life.

Suddenly, Paul Heyman interrupts the “YEAH!” chants—briefcase in hand—possibly teasing a cash-in. Paul Heyman cuts off the “YEAH!” chants, mocking the crowd for missing their cue. He says that’s exactly what he expects from fans of LA Knight. Paul brags that he’s been blessed with many gifts—not only is he outrageously good-looking, but he can also see the future. He claims he sees big things ahead for Seth Rollins, himself, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. But when he looks into LA Knight’s future? He sees absolutely nothing—because Knight has no future.

That’s when Solo Sikoa’s music hits. He walks out with Tala Tonga, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo.

Solo tells Paul things have changed since Knight ran off to RAW and turned his back on the family. Now there’s no Bloodline, no Tribal Chief, and no Wise Man. Solo warns Heyman—if he wants to make it out of the building alive, he better leave before his MFTs put him through another table.

Paul doesn’t argue. He escapes through the crowd. Solo turns his attention to LA Knight. He says what’s changed is that he’s now the United States Champion. The same guy who beat LA Knight at WrestleMania—who everyone was afraid of—is gone because Solo took him out. And now, he offers Knight the same deal he gave Paul: walk away… or get carried out.

Knight starts to leave, but stops. He turns back, steps into the ring, and tells Solo no one makes him do anything. If Solo wants him gone, he’ll have to send his crew in to do it.

The group surrounds the ring from all sides. Suddenly, a chair slides into the ring—Jimmy Uso is at ringside. He blasts Tonga Loa and helps LA Knight take down JC Mateo with the chair. Tala Tonga steps up onto the apron, but Jimmy dares him to enter. Solo holds Tala back and tells him to stay down.

Nick Aldis comes out and reminds Solo Sikoa that while he may be the United States Champion and have new allies, Aldis is still the one running the show. He says he expected Solo to be focused on his match tomorrow night—but instead, he’s out here picking fights. So now, Aldis makes it official: tonight, Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo will team up to face LA Knight and Jimmy Uso.

Backstage, Charlotte Flair is approached by Alexa Bliss. Alexa asks Charlotte to be at ringside for her match. Charlotte quickly shuts her down, saying they’re not friends. Alexa points out that everyone else will have backup out there. Charlotte replies that she’s not a cheerleader, and Alexa snaps back that Charlotte would be a terrible one anyway. Charlotte smirks and says she only cheers for herself.

Alexa Bliss vs. Kairi Sane vs. Sol Ruca vs. Raquel Rodriguez

Alexa Bliss and Sol Ruca start the match, but Kairi Sane quickly targets Roxanne Perez with a cheap shot. Sol slams Alexa for a near fall, but then gets caught by Kairi, who blocks a kick and fires off a forearm followed by a spinning kick. Sane hits a head scissors that sends Sol to the outside.

Kairi sets up for a dive, but Roxanne cuts her off with a Thesz Press and follows with rapid-fire windmill punches like Lisa Simpson. Sol recovers and nails a springboard double dropkick that wipes out both Sane and Perez. She follows with a Sasuke Special to the outside, landing near her opponents.

Back in the ring, Sol sweeps Perez’s legs and nails a thrust kick for a near fall. She lifts Perez, but Perez counters and sends Sol into the turnbuckles. Perez clips Sol’s leg and stomps it before dropping a knee onto it.

Perez hits a side Russian leg sweep for another near fall, then targets the hamstring with kicks and applies a step-over toe hold. Alexa breaks the hold with a rollup on Perez for a quick near fall. Perez comes back with a drop toe hold and a rollup of her own, also for a near fall. She then slows it down with a front face lock.

Kairi Sane leaps off the turnbuckles with a forearm to Perez for a near fall, then knocks Sol Ruca and Bliss off the apron. Perez recovers and lands a hard forearm to Sane, followed by a stiff Irish whip and an uppercut in the corner. She charges, but Sane gets a boot up and climbs the ropes—only for Perez to chop her to stop the momentum.

Perez and Sane battle on the turnbuckles. Perez sets for a superplex, but Sane fights it off. That brings Sol and Bliss underneath, and all four crash to the mat in a Tower of Doom. Everyone’s down, but Sol and Bliss get to their feet first and trade forearms and uppercuts. Sol misses a kick, allowing Bliss to hit slaps and a blockbuster for a near fall. Perez breaks up a DDT attempt with a thrust kick, sending Bliss into the corner. She follows up with a European uppercut to the back and a beautiful double-jump moonsault, but Sol breaks up the pin.

Sol hits Perez with a lungblower and a running knee to the head for a close two-count. She lifts Perez for a slam, but Sane interrupts and headbutts her into the Tree of Woe. Sane delivers a brutal double stomp and nearly scores the win. Sane is sent to the floor, and Bliss rolls up Perez for a near fall. Perez escapes Sister Abigail, and Bliss dodges Pop Rox. Bliss lands an elbow strike, and Sol follows up with a double Sol Snatcher. She goes for the cover, but Raquel Rodriguez puts Roxanne’s foot on the rope to stop the count.

Zaria attacks Raquel with a punch. Raquel responds by lifting Zaria and kicking Asuka. She drops Zaria with a hot shot onto the announce table. Charlotte Flair then shoves Raquel over the announce desk. Back in the ring, Sane nails Sol from behind and climbs for the Insane Elbow on Alexa—but Alexa gets her feet up just in time. Bliss follows up with Sister Abigail and covers for the three-count.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

He follows with a swinging neckbreaker for a near fall. He sends Lumis to the floor, then tosses Gacy out right after him. Dawkins launches himself to the outside with a flip dive, taking out both Lumis and Gacy. Back in the ring, Dawkins heads to the top rope and hits a swanton for a close near fall.

Gacy recovers and hits a handspring clothesline, then tags in Lumis. The two connect with a neckbreaker and belly-to-back suplex combo for another near fall. Lumis follows up with a hard Irish whip that sends Dawkins crashing into the corner, then tosses him to the floor. As the referee holds Lumis back, Ford checks on Dawkins before Angelo rolls back into the ring.

Lumis lands more punches before tagging Gacy in, who hits a series of kicks and locks in a reverse chinlock. Dawkins grabs the ropes to force the break. Lumis tags back in and hits a suplex for a near fall. He continues targeting the neck, pulling Dawkins to the mat and punishing him with more shots to the back of the head. Winners:  Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis (new champions)

Backstage, the tag teams are fired up and frustrated.

Johnny Gargano tries to calm everyone down, saying they need to work together because the worst-case scenario just played out. Tommaso Ciampa chimes in, saying if the others had listened to them, this wouldn’t have happened. He insists they know what’s best for WWE.

Nathan Frazer speaks up, saying he and Axiom deserve the first shot at the tag titles. That’s when Andrade and Rey Fenix walk in. Andrade says after everything they’ve done in recent weeks, they’ve earned their place in the tag team division.

Gargano and Ciampa walk off with Candice LeRae, saying they’re going to talk to Nick Aldis. Meanwhile, the stage begins to transform for a live musical performance.

Back from the break, Jelly Roll takes the stage and performs for the crowd.

But the moment is cut short when Logan Paul interrupts. Logan storms out and grabs a mic, saying people came to see real WWE Superstars—not musicians with tattoos of their kids but no custody. He says this ring and this venue are sacred. Jelly Roll belongs on a concert stage, not inside a WWE ring. Logan says he’s sick of celebrities and influencers invading the business and riding the coattails of what real wrestlers built. Clout chasers, he says, make him sick.

Logan Paul says WWE doesn’t need Jelly Roll—it needs Logan Paul. He claims he raised the bar for what it means to be a wrestler and brags that WWE even signed a deal with his podcast.

Jelly Roll fires back, saying Logan clearly doesn’t know where he is. This is Jelly’s hometown. He tells Logan nobody cares about his podcast.

Randy Orton walks out. He calls out Logan for calling Jelly an outsider in his own hometown. Randy says Jelly is a star—if anyone’s the outsider, it’s Logan. He tells Logan to listen up and calls him an entitled, whiny bitch. Randy starts to say everyone works to make Logan look— But Drew McIntyre interrupts, running in and blasting Randy with a Claymore out of nowhere. Drew leaves on his own, telling security they’re doing a great job as they follow him out.

With Randy down, Logan starts throwing punches. Security holds Drew back, and as Logan turns around—Jelly Roll grabs him and slams him to the mat, sending Logan rolling out of the ring. Jelly helps Randy up, and they show mutual respect. Security stops Logan from getting back in the ring. Furious, Logan grabs a guitar and smashes Jelly Roll’s equipment at ringside.

Wade Barrett is in the ring with Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus to discuss their upcoming title match at WWE Evolution.

Wade asks Tiffany why she chose Trish as her opponent. Tiffany confidently says she’s already beaten Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, and Bayley—so why not go after one of the best? She says if she can beat Trish Stratus, maybe she’ll finally be considered one of the greatest of all time.

Wade turns to Trish and asks if there’s any pressure going into Evolution. Trish says the pressure isn’t on her—it’s on Tiffany. If Tiffany wants to be considered one of the GOATs, she’ll have to beat her. Trish reminds everyone she already is one of the greatest, and she plans on walking out with the title, leaving Tiffany with nothing. She promises to deliver Stratusfaction on Sunday.

Tiffany fires back, saying she’s happy to let Trish relive her glory days, but it’s called Evolution for a reason. She jokes that she’s seen Trish’s old VHS tapes.

Trish responds by saying she helped build and solidify the women’s division and continues to deliver. She gives Tiffany credit for being a strong champion—but warns she’s about to become an eight-time Women’s Champion.

Suddenly, Naomi walks onto the stage with her Money in the Bank briefcase. She reminds both women that it doesn’t matter who wins at Evolution—because she’s still holding the contract.

Out of nowhere, Jade Cargill attacks Naomi from behind, taking her down as the crowd erupts.
