WWE SmackDown Results (2/6/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
WWE stars are shown arriving at the venue. Drew McIntyre is seen in gorilla position before making his entrance—until Cody Rhodes blindsides him from behind and launches a surprise attack. Cody sends Drew into the apron and then the ring post. He throws Drew into the crowd, and security steps in to hold Cody back from continuing the attack. Drew grabs his title and heads to the back.
Cody enters the ring with something to say. He asks Drew if he really thinks things are going to stay the same—because they won’t. Cody reminds him that he was eliminated from the Royal Rumble by someone who wasn’t even in the match. For the first time in his career, he says he can’t, in good conscience, point to the WrestleMania sign.
On Monday, he heard CM Punk and Roman Reigns declare their hatred for each other and announce their WrestleMania match—but somehow, the first name out of their mouths was his. Cody says they called it a measuring contest, and it’s probably a good thing he’s not part of it.
Cody then asks, “What do you want to talk about?” He says he was born just down the street, and it’s a strange feeling to return to the place where it all started—and be empty-handed. He tells Drew that he wasn’t mad about being champion—he was mad that Cody was.
He ends by saying his own shame and discomfort will become Drew’s downfall. And that Drew won’t make it to WrestleMania.
Cathy Kelley is backstage with Giulia and Kiana James. She asks them about their WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match. Kiana says the titles are just a stepping stone on the path to Giulia becoming a triple champion. Giulia responds in Japanese, referencing the Elimination Chamber. Kiana adds that the Royal Rumble was just a blip. They plan to win the titles tonight, and then Giulia will win the Chamber and go on to face the champion at WrestleMania.
Nick Aldis tells Cody that if he wants a shot at Drew, he needs to qualify for the Elimination Chamber—and he’s got a match next week. Cody responds that he’ll control his emotions and leave.
WWE Women’s Tag Titles: Rhiyo vs Giulia & Kiana James
Kiana and Rhea start the match by locking up. Rhea applies a side headlock, and Kiana lifts her onto her shoulders, but Rhea slips out and fakes a punch. Giulia tags in, and she and Rhea exchange a shove. Giulia motions that she wants IYO, and Rhea makes the tag. Giulia shoves IYO, who misses a couple of strikes. Giulia connects with a forearm and some kicks, then points to her ears to taunt IYO. She tosses IYO by the hair, but IYO lands on her feet with a handspring. IYO hits a leg sweep followed by a dropkick. She grabs a wrist lock, misses a forearm, and Giulia yanks her down by the hair.
IYO lands a kick, but while the referee is distracted by Giulia, Kiana drops IYO throat-first on the top rope. Kiana tags in and throws IYO to the floor, then slams her into the apron multiple times. Back in the ring, Kiana tosses IYO to the floor again, and Giulia nails her with a dropkick off the apron.
They return to the ring, and Kiana scores a near fall. She targets IYO’s back, then mocks the crowd by pointing to her ears. Another near fall follows. Kiana throws IYO into the turnbuckles, and Giulia tags in, delivering a kick. IYO blocks the next one, but Giulia fires back with a forearm. She stretches IYO in the ropes, then hits a dropkick to the back for another near fall.
Kiana tags back in, whips IYO into the corner, and follows up with a shoulder. She sends IYO into the turnbuckles again and tags in Giulia.
