The May 9th episode of Friday Night SmackDown is expected to be a big one, as it’s the final show before the Backlash Premium Live Event this week. Therefore, fans can look forward to an exciting and action-packed night from beginning to end.
John Cena will be on SmackDown one last time before his big title match at Backlash, where he is to defend the Undisputed Championship against Randy Orton. During the May 2nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Orton gave a serious warning, and Cena will respond to the same during SmackDown this week, so we’ll have to see what he will say.
Before their upcoming U.S. Title match at Backlash, Damian Priest and LA Knight will team up to face off against Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa in a tag team match and fans can’t wait to see who will come out on top.
Jade Cargill will face Nia Jax to decide who gets the next shot at Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s Championship. Jax has been on a path of destruction ever since she returned on SmackDown a couple of weeks ago, so it remains to be seen if she can beat Cargill and get a shot at Stratton’s title.
