The May 16 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is shaping up to be a major one, as it will focus on the aftermath of the Backlash Premium Live Event. Fans can expect a night full of excitement and solid in-ring action from start to finish.
Cody Rhodes has been absent since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41. However, he is currently advertised to appear on the May 16 episode of SmackDown. Therefore, we’ll have to see what Rhodes will have to say during this week’s show.
During the May 12th edition of Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Money in the Bank qualifying matches will take place, beginning with SmackDown this week. So far, no matches have been announced yet but fans are already looking forward to seeing what kind of matches will take place throughout the show.
