The June 27th episode of Friday Night SmackDown is shaping up to be a strong show. It’s meant to help build momentum for Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution 2, both set for next month. Therefore, fans can expect a solid show from top to bottom this week.
John Cena will make another appearance on Friday Night SmackDown this week ahead of his Undisputed WWE Championship match against CM Punk at Night of Champions. Cena has the momentum after his epic pipe bomb promo on CM Punk last week, so we’ll have to see what Cena says during the show.
Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will defend her title against the dominant Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing Match. Considering the history between the two, fans can expect a solid match with a lot of brutality from start to finish.
Zelia Vega will put her Women’s United States Title on the line against Giulia. This match has been a few weeks in the making, ever since Giulia attacked Vega before Money in the Bank. Therefore, we’ll have to see whether the Beautiful Madness will end up beating Zelina Vega to become the new Women’s United States Champion.
After beating the Motor City Machine Guns, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis will now challenge Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford for the WWE Tag Team Titles on SmackDown this week.
Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
