The January 2 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is expected to be a great show as the blue brand returns to a three-hour format. So WWE has booked a solid card to ensure fans are entertained from start to finish.
Cody Rhodes is set to make an appearance on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. He’s set to defend his Undisputed WWE Title against Drew McIntyre in a Three Stages of Hell match on the January 9th edition of SmackDown, so we’ll have to see what the American Nightmare will have to say on this week’s show.
Damian Priest and Aleister Black have been feuding for several months now, and it will all come to a head in an Ambulance match this week. So it remains to be seen who will leave the arena in an ambulance and end the feud once and for all.
Jade Cargill was originally scheduled to face Michin, but Michin is currently out of action due to an injury. At the time of writing, WWE hasn’t made any announcement about a replacement, so it remains to be seen who will end up facing Jade Cargill instead of Michin.
In a massive 8-woman tag team match, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY will be teaming up against Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, and Kairi Sane. So, fans are excited to see who’ll come out on top in the end.
Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With appearances from Cody Rhodes and more, it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss.
