The August 29th episode of Friday Night SmackDown is shaping up to be a standout show. It’s the go-home edition of the show before the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event, so fans can expect a lot of epic action from start to finish.
John Cena’s set to make an appearance on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. This comes after Logan Paul brutally knocked out Cena on last week’s show. So now we’ll have to see what Cena will say to The Maverick ahead of their match at Clash in Paris this week.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Piper Niven and Alba Fyre. This comes after Flair actually lost to Niven last week on SmackDown, so it remains to be seen whether Flair and Bliss will manage to retain their titles in the end.
Sami Zayn has been feuding with Solo Sikoa for the past few weeks and it will all come to a head this week, as he is set to challenge Sikoa for the WWE United States Championship on SmackDown. So we’ll have to see whether Zayn can somehow beat the leader of the MFT once and for all.
After picking up momentum last week, the Street Profits are now set for a major opportunity. They’re set to face The Miz and Carmelo Hayes, who punched their ticket by defeating the Motor City Machine Guns. Whoever wins will earn a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships, so we will have to wait and see who will walk out the winner when all is said and done.
