Things got messy during the May 2 episode of WWE SmackDown in Des Moines, Iowa, and it all went down during a tag match featuring Fraxiom and Pretty Deadly.
The chaos started when Nathan Frazer hit a standing shooting star press that appeared to land directly on Elton Prince’s face. Prince was left busted open with visible blood coming from his mouth and looked out of it as he tried to regain his bearings.
The first sign something was wrong came seconds later, when Frazer went for the pin and Prince didn’t kick out—even though the referee stopped the count at two. Prince looked dazed and didn’t respond until he managed to crawl over and tag in Kit Wilson.
But the confusion didn’t stop there. Wilson later delivered a powerbomb on Frazer and covered him. The referee counted to three—but Frazer kicked out just as the bell rang. The ref waved it off and allowed the match to continue, creating a second botched pin in the same match.
Despite the chaos, Fraxiom ultimately picked up the win after pinning Wilson while Prince was being checked by medical staff outside the ring.
WWE hasn’t released any statement about Elton Prince’s condition yet, but the missed pinfalls and visible injury suggest something went wrong in real time—and it threw everyone off.
