The 2025 WWE Slammy Awards are streaming live from WWE World at WrestleMania in Las Vegas! Hosted by Big E and Cathy Kelley, this year’s event lets the fans decide who takes home the gold. With categories like Male & Female Superstar of the Year, Match of the Year, and Social Star of the Year, the Slammy Awards are once again a celebration of WWE’s biggest names and wildest moments.

Big E and Cathy Kelley opened the show live from WWE World in Las Vegas. Big E welcomed fans and got the crowd hyped for the 2025 Slammy Awards, with Cathy teasing a night full of surprises. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller sat on stage and said they should be the hosts. Cathy Kelley disagreed. Big E reminded everyone the fans are picking the winners — then gave a shoutout to The Boogeyman in the crowd. Big E told Austin Theory and Grayson Waller they’ll be removed if they keep heckling.
R-Truth and Jimmy Hart came out next to present the first Slammy Award of the night. R-Truth shouted “What’s up!” R-Truth and Jimmy Hart are presenting the Memorable Entrance of the Year award. Cody Rhodes won Memorable Entrance of the Year for his WrestleMania entrance. He beat out Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, The Rock, Bayley, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Logan Paul, Dominik Mysterio, and Drew McIntyre.
Cathy Kelley told R-Truth he was only supposed to present one award. R-Truth promised he wouldn’t get in the way. Kelley asked the crowd if they wanted him to stay, and a loud “yes” chant broke out. R-Truth then said he’d go sit with Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.R-Truth went to the back, came back with his own chair, and pulled it up next to Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. He sat down and shouted, “What’s up!”
Vic Joseph and Corey Graves came out to announce the next two categories: NXT Superstar of the Year and Breakout Superstar of the Year. Before announcing the winners, Vic Joseph and Corey Graves talked about how great NXT Stand & Deliver was the night before. Vic Joseph and Corey Graves listed the nominees for NXT Superstar of the Year: Oba Femi, Roxanne Perez, Trick Williams, Ethan Page, Giulia, and Kelani Jordan. Roxanne Perez won NXT Superstar of the Year.
Roxanne Perez came out to accept her award and said, “This is really cool. Ten-year-old me wouldn’t believe this.” She added that she still can’t believe it now, then got emotional and teared up in the ring. After tearing up, Roxanne Perez suddenly changed her tone. She said she was just kidding, then looked straight into the camera and said she runs NXT, she’s the future, and no one is on her level.
Vic Joseph and Corey Graves then listed the nominees for Breakout Superstar of the Year: Bron Breakker, Lyra Valkyria, Penta, Oba Femi, Giulia, Tiffany Stratton, Jacob Fatu, Chelsea Green, and Stephanie Vaquer. Stephanie Vaquer won Breakout Superstar of the Year.
Stephanie Vaquer came out and said she feels blessed. She told the crowd she’ll never forget the love and support they’ve given her. She added that she was born to be part of the WWE family and now she’s living her dream.
Zelina Vega and Tyler Breeze came out next to present the Slammy for Social Star of the Year. A replay aired of Logan Paul winning Social Star of the Year in 2024. Zelina Vega threw some shade, pointing out he wasn’t even nominated this year. Then she and Tyler Breeze ran down the 2025 nominees: Chelsea Green, Drew McIntyre, and R-Truth. Drew McIntyre won Social Star of the Year.
Drew McIntyre came out and quickly snatched his Slammy, saying, “Was there ever any doubt?” But before he could say more, Chelsea Green’s music hit. Out came Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, claiming the win was fake and calling it “propaganda.”
While arguing with Drew, Alba Fyre grabbed the Slammy and ran off with it. Piper warned Drew, “Don’t you try to stop us,” as they all took off backstage. Backstage, R-Truth stole the Slammy back from Alba Fyre and brought it out to return it to Drew McIntyre. The crowd cheered as Truth handed the award back where it belonged. After returning the Slammy, R-Truth asked Drew McIntyre if he could join him for a Celtic workout—thinking he was Sheamus. Drew pointed out he’s not Sheamus and doesn’t do that. They moved on to the next presenter.
The Miz and Cactus Jack came out next to present the Slammy for Rivalry of the Year. Before announcing the winner, Cactus Jack teased having one more match next year. He said, “It would be an honor to face a WWE legend next year… or The Miz,” taking a playful shot at Miz not being a legend. The crowd laughed as Miz pretended to be offended.
CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre was named Rivalry of the Year. They beat out Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley, Kevin Owens vs. Cody Rhodes, and more. Drew McIntyre came back out to accept the Rivalry of the Year Slammy. As CM Punk chants broke out, Drew told the crowd they were wasting their breath. “He lets everyone down,” Drew said. “I’m not saying anything positive about that guy.”
He then pulled out his phone and read off notes he said he prepared about his “Wolfpac,” mocking the tone of a speech from The Hangover movie. He made a sarcastic toast and walked off without another word.
Grayson Waller said the show was boring and suggested Jackie Redmond should be hosting instead of Cathy Kelley. The crowd responded with a loud “Cathy” chant in support of her.
Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae came out next to present the Slammy for Tag Team of the Year. Grayson Waller interrupted Johnny Gargano, telling him to hurry up and present the award. Johnny fired back, pointing out that he’s actually nominated and even dressed to accept it. The two exchanged jabs before getting back on track.
Johnny Gargano joked he didn’t need to open the envelope because #DIY was obviously going to win. But Candice insisted on doing it right—and announced the actual winners: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. Grayson Waller pointed out that Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair aren’t even a tag team anymore. Candice LeRae responded by saying they sent in a video to accept. In the clip, Belair thanked the fans for their support, and Jade thanked them for helping her win her first Slammy.
Johnny Gargano said #DIY had the second highest vote count, while Grayson Waller and Austin Theory got just 2%. Waller stood up, said it “smells in here,” and announced they were leaving. Grayson Waller said he was only there because he was contractually obligated, then told everyone to kiss his ass before walking out. Sam Roberts and Megan Morant came out next to present.
Sam Roberts hyped up the big WrestleMania recap coming right after the WrestleMania. He and Megan Morant then announced they were there to present the OMG Moment of the Year.
John Cena turning on Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber won OMG Moment of the Year. It beat out moments like Dominik turning on Rhea, Wyatt Sicks’ debut, and Cody defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. John Cena wasn’t there to accept the OMG Moment of the Year award. Sam Roberts told the crowd, “Do not cheer for this man,” before accepting on Cena’s behalf. He closed by saying, “John, we see you.”
Mankind came out next to present the Slammy for WTF Moment of the Year. The Wyatt Sicks’ shocking debut on Raw won WTF Moment of the Year. They beat out moments like Dominik in a shark cage, R-Truth wrestling with John Cena, and Jacob Fatu’s “I love you, Solo” moment.
Mankind announced that the Wyatt Sicks weren’t there in person but had sent in a video. The screen cut to black with a glitch effect, then flashed the words: “We made them remember.” The crowd reacted in silence.
Ludwig Kaiser came out next to present the Slammy for Match of the Year. Ludwig Kaiser announced a rare tie for Match of the Year. Both Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania and CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in Hell in a Cell took home the award.
Both Cody Rhodes and CM Punk sent in video messages to accept the Match of the Year award.
Pretty Deadly came out next to present the Slammy for Faction of the Year. The OG Bloodline won Faction of the Year, beating out The Judgment Day, The New Bloodline, American Made, and Damage CTRL.
Braun Strowman and Piper Niven came out next to present the Slammy for Female Superstar of the Year. Liv Morgan won Female Superstar of the Year, beating out Rhea Ripley, Bayley, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green, and IYO SKY.
Liv Morgan appeared on screen to accept her Slammy and didn’t hold back. She admitted, “If I was going to win this last year would’ve made more sense, but it feels good to finally get my flowers.” She called the voting process “dumb,” asking, “Who else was even going to win it?” Liv then took a shot at Rhea Ripley, saying, “You took my man, my moment, everything.” Liv reminded everyone she held the Women’s Championship for over 200 days and closed by saying, “Of course I’m the winner—and if you don’t like it, cry about it.”
Dude Love came out to present Male Superstar of the Year, and the winner was Cody Rhodes. He beat out Roman Reigns, Gunther, CM Punk, Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso, and Seth Rollins.
After being named Male Superstar of the Year, Cody Rhodes appeared on screen to thank the fans for the support. He said it means the world to him and he’s proud to represent WWE.
Big E and Cathy Kelley returned to close out the 2025 Slammy Awards. They thanked the fans, the WWE Superstars, and everyone watching around the world before signing off from WWE World in Las Vegas.
