WWE and AAA’s current relationship is already a massive success since all kinds of AAA talent have appeared on WWE programming. That won’t stop anytime soon as WWE has signed several AAA talent to new deals.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Microman, La Hiedra, La Parka, Faby Apache, Niño Hamburguesa, Mesías, and Lady Flammer have all signed WWE contracts for AAA and are already being featured in merchandise.

Meltzer added that at this stage, it’s very likely everyone appearing on the TripleMania show this week is under a WWE deal, since WWE now owns the company and won’t feature anyone who could legally move to AEW.

“Microman, La Hiedra, La Parka, Faby Apache, Nino Hamburguesa, Mesias and Lady Flammer have signed WWE contracts for AAA and already being merchandised.

At this point I would strongly suspect everyone on the TripleMania show is under a WWE contract since WWE owns the company and isn’t putting anyone on its platform that can legally walk into AEW.”

This comes after we previously reported that WWE has changed their approach when it comes to signing talent for AAA, since they are no longer pursuing ex-CMLL talent at the moment.

With WWE now controlling AAA’s talent roster, the promotion’s stars are more connected to WWE programming than ever. This obviously not only keeps AAA’s top names in-house but also prevents promotions like AEW from signing them, so it’s clearly working out for them in a big way.
