R-Truth—now appearing under his real name, Ron Killings—is officially back in WWE, and new details have emerged about the nature of his contract.

According to Cory Hayes of Bodyslam.net, the new agreement was finalized sometime on Friday, just ahead of the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. Hayes noted that this is “not a normal active working talent deal” but one that “gives him the opportunity for one true final run.”

“PWInsider.com reported that the decision to bring Killings back happened over the last 72 hours which I was informed by a source that the new deal came together sometime on Friday,” Hayes wrote. “This new deal isn’t a normal active working talent deal but it gives him the opportunity for one true final run.”

Triple H was asked about Killings’ return during the Money in the Bank post-show media scrum, and responded with a vague remark:

“You enjoying the show? All part of the show.”

The line didn’t go unnoticed. Killings’ son, Christopher, took to Instagram—briefly posting “cap” in response before deleting the story. He later congratulated his father and confirmed on his Instagram story that this was indeed “one last run.” As previously noted, Killings would be going by his real name moving forward, providing additional context to WWE’s apparent shift in presentation.

Ron Killings might not be on a typical talent deal, but WWE just opened the door for him to go out on his own terms. After everything—from being let go to his son calling out WWE’s public spin—Killings is back in the game with a final chapter that could silence every critic. If this really is his last run, you better believe he’s going to make it count.
