According to documents from Nevada’s Governor’s Office for Economic Development and the Nevada Film Office, WWE received $4.2 million in film tax credits to help cover the massive costs tied to the five-night WrestleMania week extravaganza.
On top of that, WWE had already locked in a $5 million site fee sponsorship from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, making Nevada’s total financial backing one of the biggest ever for a WWE event.
