Saturday Night’s Main Event is finally upon us, bringing an exciting night full of action and big moments in San Antonio this week. With a great lineup of matches, fans can expect nonstop action from beginning to end.
GUNTHER has been the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for over 173 days, but Jey Uso is ready to defeat him for the title once and for all. The Ring General will put his title on the line against Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event, so we’ll have to wait and see who will win once all is said and done.
Rhea Ripley defends her Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax in what will be a major hurdle for The Eradicator. The match will be a rematch from their solid bout at WWE Elimination Chamber last year, so fans are excited to see if history will repeat itself this week.
Sheamus is chasing the one title he’s never won: the Intercontinental Championship. Bron Breakke will be defending the title against The Celtic Warrior at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Fans can expect the match to be incredibly hard-hitting and a true banger, as fans will be rooting for Sheamus to finally win the title.
Two of WWE’s biggest powerhouses face off with no title on the line since it’s more about a matter of who is better. Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu will duke it out against each other in a match that’s expected to be an incredibly physical affair, so fans are looking forward to seeing who will come out on top in the end.
Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens will sign the contract for their WWE Championship Ladder Match during Saturday Night’s Main Event. Shawn Michaels will be on hand during the contract signing to make sure there isn’t any physicality, so it remains to be seen whether the contract signing will end without any problem.
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will definitely be an action-packed affair from start to finish, featuring Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley and more, so it’s definitely a must-see show. WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on January 25th 2025, at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. There is no pre-show and the main show will start at 8 PM ET. In the U.S., it is available to watch on Peacock and NBC and internationally on Netflix.
