Royce Keys’ WrestleMania 42 situation may still be unclear — but a new update suggests WWE has finally figured something out behind the scenes.

After weeks of uncertainty surrounding Royce Keys and his absence from TV following his Royal Rumble debut, a new report points to movement happening behind the scenes regarding his main roster future.

Speaking during a Self Made Session on March 31, 2026, Self Made Pro was asked about Royce Keys’ status. He explained that, from what he’s been told, WWE have already locked in a direction for Keys’ main roster rollout — even if it hasn’t played out on screen yet.

“All I know about the Hobbs thing is that, I want to say a week or two ago, they told me that they have figured out what his launch is going to be on the main roster from the team. I just know that they claim to me that they have figured out what it’s going to be.”

This comes after reports shut down the previously rumored WrestleMania tag match involving Jelly Roll, leaving Keys without a clear direction heading into the event. Now, instead of rushing him onto TV, it appears WWE may be holding off until they can roll out a more defined plan.

For Royce Keys, the situation has shifted from confusion to cautious optimism—WWE may not have shown their hand yet, but internally, it sounds like the pieces are finally coming together.

Do you think WWE waiting to properly launch Royce Keys is the right move, or should he already be featured on TV after his Royal Rumble debut? Drop your thoughts below and let us know.
