WWE appears to be scaling back on WWE events for next year since it doesn’t appear to be cost-effective with the WWE Network model. This means that adding more pay-per-view events hasn’t translated into an increase in new subscribers.

WWE has been doing two pay-per-view events for most of 2017, except for the months with one of the “big four” pay-per-view events (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam & Survivor Series). However, next month and also in February, there is only one pay-per-view scheduled. The next RAW brand pay-per-view isn’t until February 25th, which is currently scheduled to be an Elimination Chamber show from Las Vegas, NV.
