The July 28, 2025 episode of Monday Night Raw is the go-home edition of the show ahead of the SummerSlam Premium Live Event. That’s why WWE has planned a strong lineup for the night, promising lots of action from start to finish.
Roman Reigns Appears
The Tribal Chief will be making an appearance on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Considering the scathing promo he cut on Paul Heyman last week, fans are excited to see what Reigns will do during this week’s show ahead of his huge SummerSlam match, where he and Jey Uso will team up to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
WWE Tag Team Championship: The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh) (c) vs. LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde)
After a hard-fought win in last week’s #1 Contenders match, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde are set to challenge Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh for the WWE Tag Team Titles on Raw this week. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the LWO will pull off the upset win and finally become the new tag team champions.
CM Punk and GUNTHER Appearances
Ahead of their highly anticipated match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, CM Punk and GUNTHER will be on Raw this week and fans can expect the two to have another confrontation before SummerSlam. We will have to see whether things will become physical when the two come face-to-face.
Other Matches
Jey Uso will be duking it out with Bronson Reed in singles competition, where Paul Heyman will be on Reed’s corner. In another match, Rhea Ripley, Nikki Bella, Stephanie Vaquer and IYO SKY will face off against Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, Alba Fyre and Naomi in a huge 8-woman tag team match.
Finally, AJ Styles, Asuka & Kairi Sane are advertised to square off against Dominik Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez in a mixed tag team match.
