The broadcast booth just got a little more permanent on Monday nights.
During the September 8 of WWE Raw, Joe Tessitore officially stated that he and Corey Graves will remain the commentary team for the red brand “for the next several months.” This confirmation clears up earlier speculation about Graves’ availability and the future of NXT’s commentary lineup.
Corey Graves had been pulling double duty, calling the action for both NXT and the main roster alongside Booker T and Vic Joseph on Tuesdays. But with Graves now locked in as a full-time voice for both Raw and SmackDown, WWE is making adjustments across the board.
According to earlier reports, WWE plans to revert the NXT commentary booth back to the familiar pairing of Vic Joseph and Booker T.
“The WWE NXT announce team is expected to move back to the duo of Vic Joseph and Booker T.”
Graves’ last appearance on NXT came during the August 19 episode. With his growing responsibilities across both flagship shows, it’s no surprise WWE wants to give NXT’s broadcast a more consistent setup by keeping Joseph and Booker together.
Meanwhile, Graves and Tessitore now form the backbone of WWE’s main commentary presence, handling both Monday and Friday nights—Raw and SmackDown—as the company solidifies its broadcast strategy heading into the final quarter of 2025.
Do you think Tessitore and Graves have the chemistry to carry Raw long-term? Or would you prefer a different voice behind the mic? Drop your thoughts below—we want to hear from you.
