WWE’s creative team continues to see changes behind the scenes, and a new promotion has now been confirmed.
Kirsten Koedding revealed on her LinkedIn page that she has been promoted to writer/producer for Monday Night RAW. The update marks a major step forward for Koedding after spending the last couple of years working within WWE’s writing department.
Koedding shared the announcement publicly and reflected on the milestone after more than two years with the company.
“I am humbled and proud to announce that after working for WWE for 2.5 years, I have been promoted to Writer/Producer for Monday Night RAW! I am so thankful for the support from my team, my family, and my friends, and I can’t wait to continue to tell stories and entertain families around the world!”
Koedding originally joined World Wrestling Entertainment in August 2023 as a writer’s assistant. Since then, she has worked her way up within the creative structure before landing the new role tied directly to WWE’s flagship weekly program.
The promotion comes shortly after another notable leadership change within WWE’s creative department. Earlier this month, Alexandra Williams revealed she had been promoted to Vice President and Lead Writer for Monday Night RAW. Williams previously served as a senior writer and producer before taking on a much larger role overseeing creative development for the brand.
With Williams now leading RAW’s creative direction and Koedding stepping into a writer/producer role, WWE appears to be continuing to strengthen the team responsible for shaping weekly storylines and long-term narratives for its flagship show.
Monday Night RAW remains the centerpiece of WWE’s weekly programming, making positions within the show’s writing team some of the most influential roles in the company’s creative process. The latest promotion signals that WWE continues to develop talent behind the scenes while reshaping its creative leadership structure.
