Real American Freestyle will be making its debut on August 30th in Cleveland, Ohio and now it appears the event will feature a very special tribute dedicated to Hulk Hogan, following his passing.
While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff revealed that WWE created a special Hulk Hogan tribute for the debut show of Real American Freestyle, scheduled for August 30.
Bischoff explained that while fans may have already seen tributes on Raw and SmackDown, WWE also put together a unique piece exclusively for Real American Freestyle. He expressed his gratitude to Nick Khan, Paul, Venhouser, and Matt for producing the video and said he was excited to see it featured as part of the show.
“Oh, and by the way, speaking of TKO, WWE as a part of our show on August 30th has produced for us, for Hulk, for Real American Freestyle, a really special tribute and that will also be part of the show. So, I know you saw Raw, you saw SmackDown, but Real American Freestyle has their own courtesy of WWE. Thank you, Nick Khan. Thank you, Paul. Thank you, Venhouser, for putting together such a phenomenal—and Matt—for putting together such a phenomenal piece of video for us. We really appreciate that, man. I can’t wait to see it.”
The debut event will be airing on Fox Nation but that’s not all as Real American Freestyle Wrestling will also get a weekly television show in 2026. So, the debut of Real American Freestyle will bring a new style of wrestling and also honor one of the biggest names in wrestling history at the same time. With WWE’s help, the Hulk Hogan tribute is expected to be a special and emotional part of the show and so we’ll have to see how it all turns out in the end.
