WWE Has Possible Main Event Plans For Elias

Elias has a lot of people walking with him and his merchandise sales are decent enough to get him a second t-shirt for the Walking With Elias World Tour. Now it looks like WWE could have some big plans for The Drifter.

Dave Meltzer opened up about Elias on Wrestling Observer Radio while discussing his performance in the Greatest Royal Rumble. Apparently, WWE higher-ups see big things in Elias at this point as a top heel.

“Yeah, they think he’s a Superstar. He might be the guy that they use as that big heel in that spot we were talking about [regarding the Universal Title picture]. He’s really over in ways but when he does a serious match it doesn’t carry over that well often actually.”
