WWE is going all-in for WrestleMania 41 week by adding an extra NXT event to the lineup. The company is set to host a special NXT television episode on Tuesday, April 22, just days after NXT Stand & Deliver on April 19.

There had been speculation about the show potentially taking place at UFC Apex, a venue NXT has used before. However, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is opting for a larger location, setting the event in an arena with a 4,000-seat capacity.

“It will be from Vegas, in a 4,000-ish-seat arena, but a smaller arena,” Meltzer explained. “They don’t want to go to T-Mobile for a TV taping, but they are doing Stand & Deliver at T-Mobile. So, you know, Stand & Deliver will draw a crowd. I mean, last year, I think they announced some crazy number for Stand & Deliver, but there were still legitimately around 9,000 people there.”

This marks a major expansion for NXT during WrestleMania week, giving the developmental brand an even bigger presence. With the success of previous NXT Stand & Deliver events, WWE clearly sees value in keeping the momentum going throughout the week.
