WWE is looking to keep the party going after WrestleMania 41 with a huge post-show event that could bring comedy into the mix.
On the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC revealed that WWE is considering hosting a “Roast of WrestleMania” immediately after WrestleMania Sunday on April 20, 2025. The event would take place at the Fontainebleau Theatre—the same venue that will host the WWE Hall of Fame two nights earlier.
The roast could feature comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, a known wrestling fan and close friend of Joe Rogan. With his sharp wit and brutal delivery, Hinchcliffe would be a fitting choice to roast WWE superstars, legends, and WrestleMania 41 itself.
But the question is—is this event necessary? WrestleMania weekend is already stacked with SmackDown and the Hall of Fame on April 18, NXT Stand & Deliver on April 19, and the two-night WrestleMania extravaganza on April 19 and 20. And let’s not forget the post-WrestleMania RAW on April 21, which is always one of the biggest shows of the year.
With all these events packed into one weekend, fans are already spoilt for choice. But WWE might be betting that even a small percentage of attendees will make the roast a success. After all, not everyone who goes to WrestleMania will be at Stand & Deliver, the Hall of Fame, or RAW.
So the real question is—does WWE really need a Roast of WrestleMania, or is this just overkill? Would you attend, or is it one event too many? Let us know in the comments!
