The WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event saw John Cena turn heel and join forces with The Rock, but before that, Cody Rhodes dropped a huge f-bomb on The Rock and now it appears WWE will be capitalizing on what The American Nightmare told The Final Boss.

On the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass, it was reported that WWE plans to embrace Cody Rhodes’ “Go F*ck Yourself” line from Elimination Chamber. The company has approved potential merchandise featuring the phrase alongside American Nightmare branding.

At Elimination Chamber, The Rock opened his arms, expecting Cody Rhodes to accept his offer. Instead, Cody looked at the loud crowd and made his choice clear. He said he wanted everything and that his soul wasn’t his anymore because he had given it to wrestling and the fans long ago. Cody Rhodes then shocked everyone by looking at The Rock and saying, “Hey Rock, go f*** yourself,” as WWE didn’t censor the word.

Cody Rhodes has been going after John Cena and The Rock over the past week following Cena’s heel turn, as The American Nightmare has already declared himself as the “Captain of WWE.”

John Cena won the Elimination Chamber match and will be challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. With Cena set to appear on the March 17th edition of Monday Night RAW, we’ll have to wait and see whether The American Nightmare will retaliate and attack Cena on the show.

Cody Rhodes’ uncensored moment at Elimination Chamber has become an important part of his feud with The Rock and John Cena. Since WWE is now making merchandise with the phrase, it shows they know how powerful real emotions and viral moments are in wrestling today and we’ll likely see more such moments in the coming weeks.
