WWE Evolution was WWE’s first all-women’s event in 2018, something that fans and wrestlers loved for a ton of reasons. Since then, people have wondered if WWE would do another one. After almost seven years, it appears that WWE is planning a second Evolution event this year.

According to a report by PWN, WWE is planning to host an Evolution Premium Live Event soon. While the date isn’t final yet, it is currently set to take place on July 5 at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

“WWE is looking to host an *Evolution* PLE in the near future. Everything on the schedule is still tentative, but it’s currently set for 7/5 at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. We will share more updates as things get confirmed, so stay tuned.”

The first Evolution event was held at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in Uniondale, New York. The show was headlined by Nikki Bella vs. Ronda Rousey, and it truly showed the world that women’s wrestling had evolved in a big way.

Even though fans loved the event and many WWE Superstars supported it, WWE never held a second Evolution. There were rumors in 2020 about a possible return, but it never happened. Despite this, the likes of Bayley have been advocating for another Evolution event for a very long time and she might finally get her wish now.

A second Evolution event would mark a major moment for WWE’s women’s division, giving female superstars another platform to shine. Therefore, we will have to wait and see if the event will truly come back this year.
