The reigning IWGP Tag Team Champions might be headed to WWE soon enough.

According to Self Made Pro, WWE has made contract offers to Yuto-Ice and Oskar, better known as the Knock Out Brothers in NJPW. A source close to the situation told the outlet that both men are on WWE’s radar as the company continues its aggressive international recruitment strategy.

“A source close to the situation claims that WWE has offered a contract to both Yuto-Ice and OSKAR, NJPW’s current IWGP Tag Team Champions.”

The report adds that WWE scouts have been particularly impressed with the tag team’s rise in 2025—and for good reason.

“The Knock Out Brothers have turned heads and grabbed the attention of WWE scouts as the promotion is said to be looking to bolster their tag ranks.

Multiple sources have separately confirmed to @SelfMadePW that WWE is still very much looking ‘everywhere’ for talent recruitment, including international markets.”

After returning from excursion earlier this year, Yuto-Ice and Oskar joined the Bullet Club War Dogs and quickly made an impact by defeating veterans Taichi and Tomohiro Ishii at Destruction in Kobe to capture the IWGP Tag Team Championships. It marked their first run with the gold and showed a changing of the guard in the tag division.

As champions, the Knock Out Brothers defended the titles across major NJPW events and later entered the 2025 World Tag League, where they advanced to the semi-finals, cementing their status as top-tier talent.

If WWE can lock down the Knock Out Brothers, it would mark a major get for the tag division—one that could shake things up heading into 2026. With both superstars still young and hungry, the potential for breakout success on a global stage is definitely undeniable.
