The October 7, 2025 edition of WWE NXT featured a loaded card that kept fans engaged from start to finish. This included the Hardys winning the NXT Tag Team titles during the show. In fact, the show saw an increase in ratings in a big way.

According to Dave Meltzer, the October 7 edition of NXT saw a strong rise in both total viewership and the key demographic. The show’s 625,000 viewers represented a 9.3% increase from the previous week’s 572,000.

In the P18–49 demo, NXT improved from 0.10 to 0.12, marking a 20% increase in younger audience engagement.

The October 7 edition of NXT saw Matt and Jeff Hardy defeat DarkState in order to become the new NXT Tag Team champions, finally accomplishing a goal they were pursuing for a long time.

Team TNA also absolutely dominated the Men’s Survivor Series style tag team match as they would defeat Team NXT. This and many other moments took place throughout the night.
