The January 20, 2026 episode of WWE NXT delivered a stacked night of action and that included Tony D’Angelo getting arrested after ruining the NXT Title qualifiers.
According to Programming Insider, the broadcast averaged 608,000 viewers on The CW Network, down from 618,000 viewers on the January 13 episode. That represents a week-to-week decrease of 10,000 viewers, or approximately 1.6%.
The downturn was also reflected in the key P18–49 demographic, where NXT posted a 0.08 rating, down from 0.09 the previous week. This marks an 11.1% decline in the demo.
These figures reflect only linear TV viewership on The CW Network and do not include streaming or digital viewership from The CW’s platforms.
The January 20th edition of NXT saw Tony D’Angelo attacking Shiloh Hill after Hill won the NXT Championship qualifier match and then Tony went after Sean Legacy and Eli Knight. This led to police intervening and arresting Tony, as he was taken to the back.
Elio LeFleur also had a solid in-ring debut against Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship, but he was unable to beat Page for the title.
