The March 4, 2025, episode of WWE NXT delivered another eventful night on The CW, featuring Shawn Spears’ shocking victory to become the new NXT North American Champion. However, despite the major title change, viewership saw a decline from last week’s episode.
According to Programming Insider, WWE NXT drew 698,000 viewers, marking a 12.6% decrease from last week’s 799,000 viewers. The 18-49 demographic rating also dropped, scoring a 0.15 rating, down from last week’s 0.19 rating (-21%).
Even with the dip, NXT remains one of WWE’s strongest weekly shows, continuing to deliver exciting storylines and major moments.
The March 4th edition of WWE NXT had tons of moments that kept fans engaged throughout the night. This included Shawn Spears winning the NXT North American Championship after a series of C4s on Tony D’Angelo.
Matt and Jeff Hardy were also involved in an intense standoff ahead of their match against Fraxiom at NXT Roadblock this week.
