The December 9, 2025, episode of WWE NXT delivered a packed night of action, including a major storyline development with Ricky Saints turning heel by betraying Je’Von Evans in a shocking segment that closed the show. The episode generated notable attention as it aired on The CW Network and showed a solid jump in viewership.
According to Programming Insider, NXT drew 647,000 viewers, up from 532,000 viewers the week prior on December 2. In the P18–49 demographic, the show scored a 0.09 rating, which is slightly up from the previous week’s 0.08 rating.
These figures reflect only traditional linear TV viewership and exclude any streaming or digital data from CW’s digital platforms.

The December 9th edition of NXT saw Je’Von Evans challenging Oba Femi for the NXT Championship. Just when it seemed like he won the match, Ricky Saints pulled the referee out and this gave Oba Femi enough time to beat Evans to retain the title. The show closed with Ricky Saints officially turning heel.
Shiloh Hill also had a very solid in-ring debut as he made short work of Lexis King in singles competition. This and many other moments took place throughout the night.
