The December 16, 2025 episode of WWE NXT delivered a stacked night of action, including Thea Hail winning the NXT Women’s North American Championship following a controversial finish against Blake Monroe.
According to Programming Insider, the show drew 607,000 total viewers and scored a 0.08 rating in the P18–49 demographic. These numbers are down from the December 9 episode, which brought in 647,000 viewers and a 0.09 demo rating.
These figures reflect only linear TV viewership on The CW Network and do not include streaming or digital viewership from The CW’s platforms.
WWE NXT December 16, 2025: Viewership and Highlights
The December 16th edition of NXT saw Thea Hail beating Blake Monroe to become the NXT Women’s North American Champion after a botched finish.
A #1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way for the NXT Title took place, which saw DarkState’s Dion Lennox vs. Myles Borne vs. Joe Hendry vs. TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater. In the end, Slater won the match and earned the right to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Title.
