The August 26, 2025 edition of WWE NXT featured a loaded card that kept fans engaged from start to finish. This includes Ricky Saints becoming the #1 contender for the NXT Championship. However, the show still saw a noticeable dip in viewership this week.
According to Programming Insider, the August 26, 2025 edition of WWE NXT on USA Network averaged 616,000 viewers, an 8.7% decrease from the 675,000 viewers on August 19. In the key P18–49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.12 rating, down from last week’s 0.15 rating, representing a 20% decline.

Lexis King also managed to defeat Myles Borne in the blindfold match, possibly ending their feud for good. This and many other moments took place throughout the night.
