The April 22, 2025 edition of WWE NXT delivered another impactful night of action and storytelling on The CW, as the road to NXT Battleground continued to take shape. The show was boosted by the highly anticipated return of Joe Hendry, who wasted no time inserting himself into the NXT Championship picture, and the ratings reflected the renewed interest.

According to Programming Insider, WWE NXT drew 686,000 viewers, up from the 663,000 viewers it pulled in on April 15. In the 18–49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.17 rating, an increase from last week’s 0.14.

The April 22nd edition of NXT saw Joe Hendry insert himself into the NXT Title picture by confronting Oba Femi and Trick Williams before Hendry and Femi beat up Trick Williams for good measure.

Andre Chase also did the impossible as he decided to revive Chase U by unveiling the classic sweater. This and many other moments took place throughout the night that kept fans engaged.
