Triple Threat Elimination Tag Team Championship Match

(C) The Author’s Of Pain Vs. The Revival Vs. D.I.Y

The bell rings and D.I.Y and The Revival turn on AOP together, signifying a truce, for now. It’s 4-on-2 as a brawl breaks out. Akam is caught by Ciampa with a drop toe hold into the guardrail as The Revival hammer Rezar in the corner.

DIY set up a table at ringside but Akam sends them both spine-first into the barricade. Akam and Rezar both get taken out and we’re left with the four former Tag Champions in the ring, and the truce ends as D.I.Y hit stereo dropkicks. DIY double team Dash Wilder in the middle of the ring.

The Authors Of Pain briefly take control before The Revival blindside one of the Authors as they isolate Akam in the corner and rotate tags. Dawson goes to tag in Jonny Gargano but he is having none of it. Gargano tags himself in as he hits Wilder with a rolling kick before hitting Dawson with an Enzeguiri. The crowd goes wild as Gargano hits Dawson with a springboard DDT after DIY take out both Authors at ringside.

A huge chant of “Johnny Wrestling” breaks out, just before the Authors caught-and-threw Gargano into Ciampa who was attempting a suicide dive. Rezar and Akam isolate Jonny Gargano in their corner. Ciampa is down and nowhere to be seen.Akam has Gargano in a torture rack as Ciampa makes his way back to his feet. Gargano manages to get out of the torture rack and hits Akam with an enzeguiri. He wriggles free and tags in Ciampa.

Ciampa takes down Akam and hits Rezar with a running boot. He follows it up with a running knee to Rezar followed by a snap German suplex to Akam, followed by a jumping knee strike followed by a second German. He hits Akam with a big running knee and goes for the cover. Rezar is standing on the apron and Ciampa jumps over him for a sunset flip powerbomb through the announce table but Rezar holds the top rope. Gargano joins Ciampa but they still can’t pull Rezar down, then Dash and Dawson hit him with double forearms and he goes crashing through the table!

It’s 4-on-1 now as Dawson and Gargano join forces as Akam is in a double submission – the very one the beat The Revival with in Toronto. Rezar returns from the dead and powers through Ciampa and Dash to break the pin. DIY and The Revival continue to work together as they try to eliminate the Authors. Dawson and Gargano hit Akam with a knee strike/superkick combo followed-by Ciampa and Wilder hitting Rezar with the Shatter Machine. The fans go crazy and it’s amazing.

Once again the alliance ends and The Revival and D.I.Y trade blows. Gargano and Wilder hit suicide dives on The AOP, then Dawson suplexes Ciampa from the top rope onto everyone at ringside! Authors of Pain are back up again and they take out Dawson before hitting Ciampa with the Last Chapter to pin him.

D.I.Y Eliminated

The Authors of Pain now turn their attention to Dash Wilder. They look to double team him before they turn the tables and double team both Akam and Rezar. They hit Rezar with a double uppercut/German suplex combo but he still kicks out. Dawson hits another German suplex, this time with a bridge pin but he kicks out again. Rezar hits Dawson with a chokeslam.  Authors then hit Dawson and Wilder with stereo powerbombs.

Chants of “no one likes you” break out as Rezar looks to hit Dawson with a Powerbomb. Dawson can barely stand but he rolls up Rezar for a nearfall. Akam and Rezar hit and pin Dawson. A dominant end to the match for AOP.

Winners: The Author’s of Pain
