WWE NXT TakeOver: Orlando Results – April 1 2017

NXT TakeOver opens and Triple H’s voice booms over the arena and he welcomes us to Orlando. HHH says the world is watching and tonight we make history, we show the world that “we are NXT, and we are home”! We get a fantastic video package chronicling the rise of NXT to where it is now, with a focus on Full Sail University.

SAnitY come out first for the 8 man tag-team match. Earlier today, No Way Jose was attacked earlier today and won’t be competing, so his teammates need to find a new partner or have a handicap match. Tye Dillinger is out first for his team, to a huge pop. He awaits his partners on the ramp. Ruby Riot is out next, followed by Roderick Strong. And we wait to see who, if anyone, has agreed to partner with them….

SAnitY Vs. Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, Ruby Riot & Kassius Ohno

The babyfaces storm the ring and a huge brawl breaks out immediately! Ohno hits a big spin kick to Killian Dain, helping clear the ring. The bell rings and Ruby Riot starts the match with Nikki Cross.

Nikki grabs Ruby by her hair and throws her across the ring. Ruby leaps over Nikki and uses her feet to slam her face-first into the turnbuckle. Nikki tags Wolfe into the match, forcing Ruby to make a tag. Ohno enters the match and watches as Wolfe jumps around kicking the air, then Ohno elbows him in the mouth to the love of the crowd. Ohno takes control of Wolfe, targeting his wrist.

Wolfe blindsides Ohno and tags in Eric Young. Eric Young screams at Tye Dillinger while working on Ohno. Young lands a few well-measured blows in the corner before tagging Alexander Wolfe back in. Ohno tags in Roderick Strong who takes out every member of SAnitY and gets the crowd fired-up. Strong gets caught in a German suplex by Wolfe. Killian Dain tags in and beats Strong around the ring like a ragdoll.

Eric Young enters the match and performs a rear naked choke on Strong, from the top rope. Strong tries to fight back bout Young keeps chopping him down. Young takes a shot at Ohno before attempting to crush Strong in the corner. Strong dodges and tags in Tye Dillinger.

The fans explode as Dillinger takes the fight to SAnitY. Nikki Cross tries to intervene but Ruby Riot neutralizes her as Dillinger takes out Wolfe and Young. Kassius Ohno hits Alexandr Wolfe with a stiff right jab before Dain crushes him against the ring post. Inside the ring Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross hammer each other.

Dillinger and Young are in the ring. Dillinger hits Young with a back body drop before hitting Dain with a superkick for the near-fall. Wolfe breaks up the count as Ohno hit him with a switch kick. Eric Young attempts the Wheelbarrow Neckbreaker on Dillinger but Roderick Strong comes in and hits the Sick Kick.
Tye and Dain are the only two in the ring and Tye is waiting for the big man to turn around. Nikki jumps onto Tye’s back, meanwhile Ruby jumps onto Killian’s. They take both men down, then Ruby throws Nikki from the ring and hits a dropkick from the apron. Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross are still brawling as Killian Dain hits Tye Dillinger with the Ulster Plantation to pin him. SAnitY pull off the win once again.

Winners: SAnitY
