Thanksgiving is here, and while most of America is getting ready for turkey and stuffing, the stars of WWE NXT are putting their own spin on the holiday feast.
NXT’s official Twitter account shared a fun video featuring top talent revealing their favorite Thanksgiving dishes—and the answers range from classic to downright surprising.
Trick Williams is all about the sweet potato pie, embracing the dessert table in style. NXT General Manager Ava went with pumpkin pie, keeping things traditional. Je’Von Evans doubled down with two favorites—mac and cheese and sweet potatoes.
Jacy Jayne took a more cultural route and said eggplant parmesan is her top pick because of her Italian roots. Lexis King made it clear that stuffing smothered in gravy is his go-to. Kelani Jordan leaned into dressing and mac and cheese, while Leon Slater broke all expectations and named a protein shake as his must-have.
Jaida Parker stuck with the classics: mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and turkey. Josh Briggs wasn’t shy about hating Thanksgiving and said he’ll be going for tacos instead. Ariana Grace decided to keep it in the family and joked that her aunt Santina’s baked lasagna was the best dish on the table. Myles Borne loves his mom’s sweet potato casserole, and Charlie Dempsey kept it simple with traditional turkey.
The mysterious DarkState members said anything with cranberries works for them, along with sweet potato pie. Closing out the video, Joe Hendry shared that this is his first Thanksgiving ever, and he’s bringing a Scottish twist to the party with some haggis.
These food choices show that Thanksgiving at NXT is far from boring. Some stick to the classics, others go off-script, but every choice reflects a unique personality and background. Whether it’s mac and cheese, baked lasagna, or even a protein shake, Thanksgiving is clearly all about enjoying what makes you feel good.
