WWE is running it back—the NXT Roadblock event is officially returning to Madison Square Garden’s Theater on March 31, 2026.
PWInsider confirmed the news on February 3, 2026, noting that WWE’s developmental brand will once again take over the iconic NYC venue for its annual spring special. This marks the second year in a row that WWE has booked the Theater for Roadblock, and it’s no accident.
Last year’s show was a massive hit behind the scenes, thanks in part to a stacked card and slick production. As reported earlier, those inside WWE were impressed with how the show came together.
“Those that [Fightful] spoke to in NXT were very happy with how Roadblock came out from an execution and production standpoint.”
Roadblock 2025 closed with a bang as Stephanie Vaquer defeated Giulia to become a double champion in NXT. The show also featured TNA’s Moose in a rare interpromotional match against then-NXT Champion Oba Femi—giving fans at MSG a dream matchup they won’t forget.
The event drew a strong crowd, and it looks like WWE is banking on that same energy to carry Roadblock 2026 to the next level. With the brand continuing to mix in talent from outside promotions and elevate international stars, expectations are already building for what could be another major moment for NXT on one of wrestling’s most storied stages.
