The December 16 episode of WWE NXT is expected to be a big show. It will continue building storylines as the company moves toward 2026, and fans can look forward to a strong and exciting episode from start to finish.
Last week, Blake Monroe held an open challenge for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. However, nearly the entire women’s locker room came out instead. During all the chaos, Thea Hail blindsided Monroe and made her tap out. Thus, Hail will now challenge Monroe for the NXT Women’s North American Championship on this week’s show, so we’ll have to see how she will fare against Monroe.
A Fatal Four-Way match will determine the next challenger for Oba Femi’s NXT Champion, featuring Dion Lennox, Joe Hendry, Leon Slater, and Myles Borne. Considering the in-ring skills of all four competitors, it’s anyone’s game, and so it remains to be seen who’ll earn the right to challenge The Ruler.
Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair will continue their feud with Fatal Influence as they’ll be squaring off against Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid in tag team action. Finally, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger will make their in-ring return this week as they square off against Price and Bronco Nima in a tag team match.
Tonight’s episode of NXT has a ton of action in store for fans. With the likes of Blake Monroe and more on the show, it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our WWE NXT coverage hub. It promises to be a memorable episode for many reasons, so it remains to be seen how the show will turn out.
WWE NXT will air live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, starting at 8 PM ET on the CW Network. Internationally, fans can also stream the entire show on Netflix and on-demand viewing.
