WWE NXT has made its mark not only in the ring but now on streaming charts as well. Following the January 7 episode of NXT, which featured a headline-grabbing promo from The Rock and saw Giulia claim the NXT Women’s Championship, the show surged in popularity on Netflix Canada.

Ethan Page, who shared the screen with The Rock during the segment that helped push the ratings to new heights, took to Twitter on January 9 to highlight NXT’s streaming success. “Top 10 TV Show on @Netflix 🇨🇦 #WWENXT,” Page tweeted, attaching a screenshot that showed WWE NXT had clinched the #6 spot on Netflix Canada’s Top 10 TV Shows for the 24-hour period.

The numbers back up the excitement. it was reported that this week’s NXT drew an impressive 957,000 viewers with a 0.25 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic—a significant jump from last week’s 626,000 viewers and 0.16 demo rating. It’s clear that WWE’s move to Netflix is already paying dividends, capturing audiences in new and exciting ways.
