WWE works hard to make every NXT Premium Live Event a massive success. With Deadline happening this week, fans can look forward to a fun and action-packed night, with a strong lineup of matches to keep everyone entertained.
Oba Femi came back last month to challenge Ricky Saints for the NXT Championship and WWE wasted no time in booking the rematch for Deadline. Saints was the one who beat Femi to win the title in the first place, so we’ll have to see whether the Ruler will regain the title once and for all.
In the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge, five Superstars will battle for a future shot at the NXT Championship. The competitors are Je’Von Evans, Joe Hendry, Myles Borne, TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater, and Dion Lennox. The winner of the match will become the No. 1 Contender for the NXT Championship, so fans are excited to see who’ll get a title shot when all is said and done.
The women will also get their own Iron Survivor Challenge, with a future NXT Women’s Championship opportunity on the line. The field is obviously loaded since Sol Ruca, Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, and Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey are all in the match. There’s a lot of history between all the competitors and it’s anyone’s game, so it remains to be seen who will end up winning the match and get a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship.
Tatum Paxley faces Izzi Dame in singles competition. This match was made after Dame betrayed Paxley and cost her the NXT Women’s Championship during NXT Gold Rush last month.
Finally, the NXT North American Championship will be on the line as Ethan Page defends against AAA Superstar Mr. Iguana. Page and Iguana are definitely no strangers to each other, so fans can expect a fun match between the two.
NXT Deadline will definitely be an action-packed affair from start to finish, featuring Joe Hendry, Ricky Saints and more, so it’s definitely a must-see show. Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our WWE NXT Deadline coverage hub. It promises to be a memorable episode for many reasons, so it remains to be seen how the show will turn out.
NXT Deadline will be taking place on December 6th at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas. The pre-show will begin at 6:00 PM ET and the main show will start at 7 PM ET. Fans in the U.S. can catch the event on Peacock. Internationally, fans can also stream the entire show on Netflix and on-demand viewing.
