WWE’s planned NXT event in Atlanta may not be happening after all.

The February 24 episode of WWE NXT was originally announced for Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia. However, a new report indicates that the show is unlikely to take place at that venue and is instead expected to move back to the WWE Performance Center.

According to PWInsider.com, the change is tied to a local permitting issue that has complicated production logistics.

The core of the problem reportedly involves broadcast setup space. WWE production trucks traditionally used a parking lot adjacent to Center Stage when running events there. That parking area has since been sold, making it significantly more difficult to mount a full television production.

Without reliable space for production trucks and broadcast infrastructure, running a live NXT taping at Center Stage has become far less feasible.

WWE is expected to make an official announcement in the coming days confirming the change. If finalized, the February 24 NXT episode would return to its usual home base at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Center Stage has historic significance for wrestling fans, having hosted numerous major events over the years. A move back to the Performance Center would keep the show in a controlled environment but removes the opportunity for a special road-event atmosphere in Atlanta.

Do you think WWE should work to bring NXT back on the road more often, or is the Performance Center the better long-term home for weekly television? Drop your thoughts below.
